Directed by: João Guerra
Adapted from a short story by José Cardoso Pires
Short film, 2006
António Grácio and Cigarra are longtime friends on a final journey to find Miguel, a friend of Grácio. Cigarra is blind and sings Fados and Modas (Portuguese traditional music genres) while António carries the charity box and helps his friend in his daily struggles. During their journey, we are given the opportunity to witness their humor and the close ties between two friends. Upon Miguel’s arrival, it becomes clear that a business operation may distance the two friends, but not end their friendship.
