Bocage is an 8-episode TV series about the Portuguese poet’s last 16 years of life, since his return for the East until is death in 1805.

This series aims to explore Bocage’s history beyond what lingers in Portuguese collective memory: his anecdotes, his satirical and erotic poetry, his bohemian life. This is a narrative about a quarrelsome genius, often considered the greatest Portuguese writer after Luís de Camões.
